Chris’ Cool Cars: Ferrari Purosangue SUV
No, your eyes don’t deceive you, and yes, hell might have just froze over. What you are looking at is the very first Ferrari SUV. Some said never, others said inevitable. Well, inevitable won.
This is the new Ferrari Purosangue. This 4-door Ferrari SUV takes it styling cues from the Ferrari Roman. It’s powered by a naturally aspirated V12 that makes 715 horsepower, which is sent through an all-wheel drive systems with a rear-mounted eight-speed dual-clutch transaxle. Ferrari says this is good for a 49:51 front to rear weight distribution.
Ferrari claims it will hit 60 MPH in 3.3 seconds with a top speed of 193 MPH. The cabin has two displays for the driver and passenger and a roomy rear seat accessible by rear suicide-style doors. No pricing yet, but it should be available in early 2023.
