Chris’ Cool Cars: 1992 Lancia Delta HF Evoluzione 1 Rally Car

Back in 1992, Lancia took home the last of it’s six consecutive Constructor’s World Rally Championships with the Delta HF Evoluzione 1. An amazing achievement! Along with those constructor’s titles, Lancia went out as the most successful marques in the history of rally racing with 46 victories and four Driver’s Championships.

This particular 1992 Delta HF Evoluzione 1 comes draped in the iconic Martini Racing livery (one of my personal favorites), and it’s powered by a turbocharged two-liter four-cylinder making at least 400 horsepower. The car is also outfitted with a sequential six-speed transmission, Bilstein suspension, and a rigid chassis with a full roll cage. Despite its life as a rally car, this Delta is immaculate and it’s one of the most important rally cars in history!
